The software found on this page is for the some what advanced user. These are RPMS, they do NOT install like normal .PKG files. You will typically want to use the following command to install these

rpm -ivh filename.rpm --- To install
rpm -Uvh filename.rpm --- To upgrade, if you installed an older copy
